I picked this book up purely because I liked the cover. I knew nothing going in. Well, somtimes judging a book by its cover is the right call, because I had a great time with this book. The characters are lovely, I liked how magically and mundanely complicated their lives are, and the worldbuilding for this story is really great. I flew through the plot and really enjoyed it. Can't wait to read the next one!
