I was looking forward to this story, but after the first few chapters, I wondered how the author would make the story last for 300+ pages. That feeling pretty much lingered throughout the whole book. It felt like writing a paper for English class and trying to make the word count. It was a fine story, but I really wanted to like it more than I did.
