If You Only Knew by Cynthia Clark
5.0
Honestly, this was not what I was expecting at all. But I guess that serves me right for judging a book by its cover, hey?
A gripping novel that I was reluctant to put down and consistently wanted to keep reading.
The protagonist was infuriating but also relatable and you did feel for her a lot. I felt like yelling some sense into her many times, which just made the book all that more interesting.
The dual timeline at the start worked well for suspense, whilst giving the details needed to understand the second half.
I would definitely recommend this read!
