Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows by J.K. Rowling
5.0
"Of course it is happening inside your head, Harry, but why on earth should that mean that it is not real?"
I keep forgetting how hard the last book is for an empath. Dark Academia meets fantasy.
If the first books can still be categorised as children's books, the last ones are definitely much deeper and darker.
Although I know the story inside out, I cried my eyes out...
You can think what you like about the author, but she has created a world that I grew up with and in which I feel at home.
I do have one more point, I think it's a shame that the wonderful relationship between Harry and Ginny isn't shown at all in the films as it is in the books. It had so much potential.
Apart from that, I hope I don't fall into a reading slump, because "Hogwarts is my home"!
