February 2025 reread:  The whole gang’s back together again! After Murderbot finished its side-quests from books 2 and 3, it’s now back to rescue Dr. Mensah and complain about how stupid humans are. Hurray! This book had some of my more favourite fight scenes, especially the one against three hostile SecUnits amidst careening heavy machinery. Also some excellent character growth from everyone’s favourite rogue SecUnit as its forced to confront the fact that, y’know, people care about it, and it cares about them. One of the better books of the series, IMO.
