The story starts with the MFC at 16 when a tragic event happens at home and by chapter 2 we are 4 years in the future where the story takes off. Lilia receives an unexpected offer to a prestigious college located on an island off the coast of Maine.

There's just so much to this story, I found it hard to put down.
I enjoyed the description of the old historical college located on this small island with all it's cold dark gothic vibe.
