I didn't like this book as much as the first one. Mainly because a lot of the characters came off as whiny (I'm looking at you kid) and the characters I either tolerated or enjoyed were killed.

That being said, a lot of crap hit the fan and the things are going down. I can't wait to see where Neuvel takes this story in the next installment.
