I had been looking forward to reading this book for a long time and I am grateful for it. I do not agree with all of the assessments made by the author–someone whom I admire and respect–as many of the privileges granted to those who can persevere are rooted in class. Although this is acknowledged in the book, I still had a hard time with it on occasion. Despite this, I really enjoyed it.
