Lessons in Chemistry by Bonnie Garmus
5.0
Oh, what an honor it is to know Calvin Evans and the bonds of womanhood. I decided to read this before watching the show after seeing clips on tik tok. Elizabeth Zott’s character gives glimmers of neurodiversity, but her rigidity, perspective taking, and social relationship struggles may very well come from her trauma. This book will make you want to hug and share with every woman you know, go back to school, train your dog, sucker punch every man you know, and learn to row. I will fondly remember these characters when spending time with the humans in my life.
