I loved FINNA to bits and pieces. So, naturally, I was very excited for the sequel and Defekt is so good, so great, it surpassed my expectations (that where already high!).
Much darker than FINNA, Defekt is about the most perfect employe who lives and breaths company policies - Derek. Derek is lonely and has no friends, but that's okay because his part of the LitenVarld family. Until something strange starts happening with his body. It plunges him into a weird night full of disturbing discoveries.
Just like FINNA, Defekt also has very loud anti-capitalist and anti-corporate messages, goes even further in exploration of the way corporations are guilty of dehumanization and exploitation of labour. It uses body horror to emphasize it, and comedy to balance out depressing parts.

Graphic: Body horror
