A Stone in the Sea by A.L. Jackson
4.0
This took me forever to finish, but the ending of the book ... I didn’t see it coming. OMG, it totally caught me off guard.
The story between Baz and Shea is passionate and the way they both try to steer clear of one another is nerve wracking, but in the end their feelings trumps all.
Their struggles are emotional (no, I didn’t cry) and the pacing didn’t disappoint. There were moments I gasped, I became frustrated and shocked. I enjoyed every moment of the writing and can’t wait to (eventually) get to the next book.
