It takes a bit to get into the rhythm of the book and figure out what's going on. The beginning and end of each short story is told in the words. The middle is told - oh so delightfully - in the pictures. And each two-or-three page "story" would be a great beginning for a reader to take off on their own One Day story. For me, this is more of either a story to share one-on-one, or something to share with a group with the intent of following it up with a writing activity of some kind.
