A new romance from Katie Fforde is like hiding away in a sunny window seat with a cup of tea and some little fairy cakes. I always look forward to her books. I do prefer those with older, slightly less naive heroines than Sophie, however, although that may be a reflection of where I am in my life rather than the quality of the author's work. For these reasons, Wild Designs is still my favourite Katie Fforde novel!
