4.5 rounded up, I really enjoyed this as I enjoy all of Catherynne's writing. It was moody and emotional and just plain beautiful. As the basic white girl who loves Japan I enjoyed being immersed in the culture, if from an American's perspective.
I especially enjoyed the afterword, it was lovely to hear of the origins of the book as well as the ties within all her writing
