The Midnight Feast by Lucy Foley
5.0
Finally some good food.
A story of lies and betrayal, glimpses into summers past, and some strange legends on Birds all combine together to make this novel. There’s several different points of view, and each character has a specific part to play, both present and past. I found myself confused on all of the characters, until the pieces started to fall into place!
The summer solstice was supposed to be the most spectacular part of the opening weekend of The Manor, a luxury hotel planned by one Francesca Meadows. However, a tragic incident discovered the day after reveals that perhaps Ms Meadows isn’t as perfect as she seems- and that a sinister secret may in fact lurk in the woods where urban legends come to life.
