Happy to announce my first full 5 star read of the year. This book will always have my heart 🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹
I loved everything about this book. It was so real. I was previously a hater of second chance romance but my queen Kennedy Ryan has converted me fully.
I’ll be back with a more coherent review
My somewhat coherent review:
I had been so nervous to read this book because like I said I’m not a fan of second chance romance. Like why are you going back?
But this was so much more than a second chance romance, it was a healing romance.
I loved Josiah and Yasmen together and individually as people.
I loved that Yasmen found her little tribe although it was later in life.
I was so glad there was no cheating(nothing irritates me more).
The other potential love interests were treated with so much respect.
This may all be due to the fact that Si and Yas are grown ass adults and don’t like to play games. They talked and listened to one another. It was refreshing
The way Yasmin and Deja’s relationship blossomed made me so emotional . Even though Deja annoyed me a bjt but then I remember I was once 13.
This book dealt with grief in such a delicate way and ugh 🥹 there really isn’t a proper way to deal with grief.
They were such good parents, good people and I’m so glad it worked out for them in the end.
I can’t wait to read this could be us. Kennedy Ryan my queen, you will always be famous 🥰❤️
