The Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde

4.0

Every time I read this book, I glean something new. A fantastic story of humanity, morality, and the lengths humans go to preserve their position in society. Oscar Wilde was ahead of his time, and this novel is proof of that. The not-so-subtle homosexuality between the characters seems out of place for a book written in the late 1800s. I want to frame every single line from this book and hang it in my hall of favorite book quotes.
