The main characters is snarky, sarcastic and smart mouthed and doesn't let society rules or scandal stop her from trying to find her sister.

It's a nicely written sometimes funny, sometimes slightly dark and "dangerous" story written in a way that reminded me a great deal of Jane Austen and her story. With the main girl not wanting to be married of, doing her own thing and still not really wanting to go against her family but in the end doing that anyways because she has to do be able to do what she thinks is right.

The paranormal "magical" aspects where okay, I would have loved a bit more of an explanation and sadly the very end -the last 10-15 pages!- felt very rushed.

But other then that this was a wonderfully entertaining read, with an interesting mixture of powered and Victorian England.

If you are searching for a fast and easy but very entertaining read? If you want a great main girl? This is definelty a must try!
