The Scourge Between Stars gripped me and did not let go until the very last sentence! Jacklyn is a fantastic lead thanks to her problem-solving abilities and dedication to the crew of the Calypso. I loved having a Black female lead who is also queer!
The pacing of the story steadily increased as threat came closer which was really cool. I really enjoyed this story and was hoping to read about what happened to the crew after the end of this book, but I see that the author hasn't written anything else in a while.
MORE BOOKS LIKE THIS, PLEASE!! <- for anyone wondering what we need more of in publishing.
