Passing for Human: A Graphic Memoir by Liana Finck
5.0
Liana Finck's style of cartooning is so unique, a bit shaky and delicate, almost as if drawing you in before hitting you with some deeply relatable feelings or profound insights. In her graphic memoir, Finck traces her family history, including a familiar connection to a "shadow" or strangeness/otherness that Finck feels she has lost but needs to reclaim in order to be truly herself. It's touching and beautiful and weird and perfect.
