I loved so much about this story. The small coastal beach town in North Carolina. I laughed. I cried. I felt such a range of emotions reading this book. Two grumpy strong headed characters are such an unlikely duo but once you learn their stories you can really see how much these seem to be destined to be together. Willow’s past and her story of what she is doing with her life now is amazing. She has accomplished so much! However in this book she is taken from her comfort zone and put into new situations. I loved that she found the ability to try something new and explore different things. Dallas’ character has similar history with traumatic experience as a solider. He is very has his walls up but those slowly start to come down and he starts to become himself again. The audiobook was dual narrated by Connor Crais & Mackenzie Cartwright. These two brought the characters to life!! Mackenzie was such a perfect voice for Willow. I also adored Conner as Dallas. It was such a good audiobook!
