I’m convinced that Frieda is actually three writers in a trench coat because you cannot convince me that the same person who wrote this also wrote The Coworker or even The Locked Door. Idk if the Housemaid series has a better editor or what, but it’s miles above her other books in terms of just overall writing. The plot is a little far fetched, but it’s fast-paced and a fun little popcorn thriller if you want a palate cleanser.
