I loved the demonic elements like the moving tattoos and the snake Lilith, but overall, Aviel’s demon form and powers felt barely present in the story.
I really liked Adora and Aviel at first, but Aviel crosses a lot of lines that made his character irredeemable and by the end of the book, he is just a myriad of red flags.
Had high hopes when I started this, but this book was kind of a let down. I might still try the author’s other works though!
