This book is very personal story heavy and the romance doesn’t really appear until the end. That is not to say it wasn’t good. I love the world building of this book. Such an interesting world this author created. Damien as a main character and the POV of the book was beautiful. His story was heartbreaking and then heartwarming. It was lovely getting to see him find his family and love in his life. It was a very sweet story of family and love and home.
