The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins
5.0
I don't know if there's any other book out there that is just so familiar from the first page onward. The minute I started reading the first page, it was like I was right back to reading it the first time. "Comfort read" is an odd term for a book about children having to kill each other while there's a revolution underway, but... You know what I mean.
It reads so well and while I ended up skimming a lot of the fight scenes this time around, I really have to say that there are no useless scenes or sentences in it. Sure, the whole "government assigned boyfriend" plot is very dramatic, but it's fun!
Anyway I'm team Peeta and I'm sorry to anyone who positions themselves differently. He can bake, draw AND throw around sacks of flour.
