This is book one in Jaymin Eve’s Fallen Fae Gods world, with Shadow Beast Shifters being one of my favourite series I knew I needed to read more of Jaymin’s work and this certainly did not disappoint. The world building drew me in and then the ending of this book had me desperate to find out what happened next and running to get the next book.
Morgan works in a secretive library with her best friend Lexie, who she also lives with, after a night out together Morgan receives a phone call that changes everything, after she is pulled in to a fae mating ritual, where magic is needed to accommodate his size, it’s exactly what you think, her life is never the same. Morgan is brought into the fae world, run by 5 Dragon God brothers, with each ruling their own territory. When Morgan is enrolled into the fae academy for a fast track to gaining knowledge of the fae and all 5 brothers appear, everyone knows it’s time for change, but they just don’t know how or why.
There is so much crammed into this book but I still could not get enough and cannot wait to see what comes next.
There are dragons, fae, mythical creatures, new lands, fated mates, knotting, spice, memory loss, secrets, history and one human woman caught between it all.
