Super cute. Clipped along so fast that I read in 2 days...

The book utilized the double premise of Kara meeting the ex that broke her heart during a friend's week-long wedding festivities and then deciding to "use" that ex to push through her current crisis (in this case writing a much delayed romance novel). I loved the push and pull between Kara and Ryan. Both were definitely hurt from their previous time together but both also never really got over the other one. They had a great mix of evil ex banter, sexy will-they-won't-they vibes, and sweet romance feels with the sex scenes being highly gratifying

Kara's friends felt very much like everyone's besties... hopeful and excited for her but also willing to call her on her bs. Her family was also relatable if a smidge overbearing in all the right ways for this story. Duke (the Celine Dion loving bulldog) may be one of my favorite side characters ever.

The scene where they read and act out one of her romance novels on a dare....amazing. And I thoroughly enjoyed Italy with Liam, the sexy Brit.
