In a not too distant future, storms ravage New York, leading a family to shelter in the Museum of Natural History. People fall to disease, injury, and violence. This future is tangible, but filled with love and hope. Nonie is a child with the ability to sense what kids of storms are coming, ensuring the survival of her family. This book is deeply moving but also horrifying because its premise is not far off from what we could be surviving in a few years.
Graphic: Murder
Moderate: Miscarriage, Racism, and Terminal illness
