Sadie by Courtney Summers
5.0
Yes, you get 5 stars from me, and all of them are for you, Sadie!
My, my! I will not spoil you on this hearbreaking, ugly, beautifully powerful story so GO READ IT.
It’s your regular “girl gone missing” story in a way and much more in reality. Ugly truths come in the light, as it does in much fiction and real life, and here Sadie takes you along for the ride. And then what??
Go figure it out!
I liked the way the mystery was told, through a podcast show as well as Sadie’s pov.
It mixes the povs in an interesting way and I gather it might be even more nerve wracking listening to the audio book version (I hope there is one, it would be a shame otherwise)
So that’s about it. I always loved Courtney Summer’s books and this one is fitting right along with the other. Her more powerful voice yet.
Oh Sadie. Bless your avenging soul. I know you are fictional but I’m glad your story was told.
