The vast difference in writing both Best Served Cold & The Heroes compared to the First Law Trilogy is huge. The brilliance of this novel compared to Best Served Cold itself which I adored. The different character perspectives, dark humor, and the big set pieces fall in place so immaculately. The best of Joe Abercombie until now and eager to delve in deeper.
