Wow. That was stressful. I spent so much time waiting for this woman to realize she was indeed in an abusive dynamic and free herself from the grips of this manipulative man that it made it impossible to enjoy any of the supposedly-thrilling sex she was having. It all seemed fear and anxiety-fueled and decidedly unhot/unappealing.  I'm glad the writer finally wised up. What a horrific situation!
