I have so many feelings about this book and I need at least 5-7 business days to fully process that ending. This series is already so amazing and then book two just comes and knocks everything out of the water. There was everything from intrigue and adventure, to full on tension and feelings. The intricacies of this world that Garver has created are so interesting and I love all the magic prophecies, and curses. Jack's fully has me in a choke hold and the moments in this book between him and Evangeline had me straight up shrieking. I truly cannot get over how good this book is. The writing pulled me, in and the storytelling kept me guessing. I try had no idea what was going to happen and I absolutely cannot wait to see how these characters end up in book three. Such a crazy beautiful installment and Jacks is easily my favorite antihero.
