Don't Turn Around by Michelle Gagnon

5.0

I just finished Michelle Gagnon's thrilling DON'T TURN AROUND and really enjoyed it. Though it's technically YA (the heroine and hero are both teenagers) it is just as compelling as an adult thriller. Teen hacker Noa is an American version of Lisbeth Salander, a foster child turned hacker. The book kicks into high gear immediately as she wakes up on a hospital table with a scar on her chest, and engineers a daring yet credible escape from her captors.

It's a chilling yet believable plot -- not the most satisfying ending, honestly, but apparently this is the first book in the series so you can't wrap everything up neatly.
