This was a legit enemies to lovers with the slowest torturous slow burn ever! I really loved Damien and Amma. You could really feel them despising each other in the first half of the book. It was nice to see the little things that would add up in the long run between those two. I’m all about Damien’s resting villain face. I would be happy if Damien kidnapped my ass too. Kaz is a great side character. He had me laughing at times. I can’t wait to read the second book. Hopefully something happens between Damien and Amma. I am rooting for the villain
