"Tomorrow they will start the apocalypse.
Tonight, they let themselves look at each other, for just a little while."

This book was such a long read. It took me a very long time to finish due to the too descriptive writing style that just still doesn't fit my taste.

Sadly, I didn't enjoy this book as much as I did the first one. This book had somewhat a different theme and feel to it than the first book but the theme in the first book is what I read this series for. This book has started to focus more on the war between the two species more.

This book did have less Akiva-Karou moments. . . which is pretty sad.

This book was not bad because, goodness me, I was a bit hooked at the end of this book. I just had some trouble being able to relate and making myself care for certain characters and I don't feel the connection I had with them in the first book anymore. I liked this book but it might not be enough.

I would read the last book just to know what happens in the end but I don't think it will be anytime soon.
