to write a review on a book as special, impressive and epic as this one is torturous

i was in a reading slump and thought, you know what, i’ll start the love songs and read it gradually over time because the length intimidated me. that plan went out the window as soon as i started and realised how special it was going to be, i promptly inhaled all 800 pages over the space of 3-ish days
