"Betty' is one of those once in a lifetime books that you will truly never forget, I have never loved a character more, her narrative voice was as soft as honey, the story was earthy and raw and beautiful and sad and I cried and laughed along with these people that I truly never wanted to leave, who I miss now I have finished.
