I was highly anticipating Charlie and Nova's romance and it did not disappoint. Friends to lover is the superior trope and no one can convince me otherwise, and it's even better when there's a grumpy/ sunshine dynamic. I loved how obsessed Charlie was with Nova, the sexual tension and the steamy scenes were so good, the banter was on point and the communication and honesty between the characters made their story swoony. As always with this series, I love the small-town vibes and how nosey everyone was, and I enjoyed seeing characters from previous books.
