Interpreter of Maladies by Jhumpa Lahiri

5.0

This is a great compilation of Jhumpa Lahiri's short stories. They all feature strong ties to India, though generally the stories take place in America, where you see a theme of longing. Each story offers something, though my favorites were A Real Durwan, Mrs. Sen's, and The Treatment of Bibi Haldar. This book is definitely worth a read.
