The Highlander by Kerrigan Byrne
4.0
I continue to really enjoy this series as a whole. The way that Byrne can take a man called the "Demon Highlander" and make him a man that you root for is amazing.
The Laird of the Mackenzie Clan is home to stay, but his kids are nothing but awful to every Governess that comes their way.
Mina is running away from a husband who had her institutionalized because he had no use for her anymore. Rescued by our heroes of the previous books, she is whisked away to the Highlands to be the new Governess to the Mackenzie children.
He wasn't expecting a tall, buxom, proper lady in his new Governess. She was expecting an old man, not a man in his prime who fills out his kilt in all the right ways, even sopping wet in the rain.
I adored this installment in the series. I truly rooted for this couple to figure things out, and for Mina to get a new start. I loved both of the kids, and their conspiring to get them together.
