✨There’s something about you, Willow O’Leary-Nightstalk, something disruptive and magnetic✨
I don’t even know where to begin in this review except to say that I need book two yesterday. I am no stranger to this author and the amazing worlds she creates, and hopping into this book is no different. This book IS a standalone series that is interconnected to her Fae Gaurdians series. You don’t have to read it to enjoy this one, but there will be some parts that you won’t fully understand without doing so. It won’t spoil your enjoyment of this series however if you don’t.
✨Nothing’s don’t have names ✨
I am so excited for the why choose part of this story. In this book we are limited to only one love interest for… reasons … but the ✨tension✨ is there with the others that I look forward to exploring as we continue the series. The banter and relationship explored between Willow and Fox was the perfect way to start off the series and I can’t see it being any other way now that I’ve read it. I love the slow burn feeling that we are getting, having to work for the relationship with the others instead of it just being insta love is pristine!
✨I’m something ✨
I’m not normally one for cliffhangers, as I DO so want to just keep reading when a series grips me like this one, but I was sobbing like a baby during the last chapter of this book. Lana has done it again, building you up only to tug on your heart strings leaving you emotionally damaged at the end.
✨I was something to Tinger. I am something to my family. I am something to my friends. I am something to the Six ✨
I am so grateful to have been chosen as an ARC reader for this series by Lana and I am so excited to continue reading the story of Willow and her Six.
