The Name of All Things by Jenn Lyons

Did not finish book. Stopped at 20%.
I...look, it just felt like I was reading a book that had parts written by the local 13 year old Horse Girl at school. It was pretty unbearable. Unmareable? Sorry. I get it. They have a social structure built around horses. I so get it. But, MLP's Equestria seems kinda sophisticated comparatively, yah?

I sort of get the feeling that a Horse Girl or MLP might have a better concept of gender identity and transness than the author, after reading some thoughts from trans readers. I thought it was clunky as hell but had hopes it would go somewhere interesting - sad and infuriating to hear it just felt demeaning to many.
