Very verbose, stiff start and I almost stopped reading. The story flowed smoothly after several chapters and almost too quickly but made the entire book worthwhile. Ending was abrupt and felt unexplained and not fully fleshed out.
I had very mixed feelings about this book, making me love and hate it. I would have liked "more" to a great, macabre thriller with an intriguing interaction between a doctor and his non-medical partner, aka accomplice. Or was he a victim as well?
Look forward to this author's next book.
