The Duke by Kerrigan Byrne
3.0
My least favorite in the series so far.
This book feels like a middle book syndrome situation. Our hero was harder to love than our previous 3, and our heroine kept her secret a little too long for my taste.
That said, the lovers to enemies to lovers trope was pretty well executed. The chemistry between them was nice, and I ultimately was still rooting for them to win and be together.
In my personal opinion, this hero needed to grovel a little more at the end. She forgave him too quickly for things that needed to be handled with much more care. I do plan to continue the series of course. This one was just a miss for me.
