I loved book 1, and book 2 did not disappoint. Irene is one of my favorite protagonists of all time. The beginning of the book was a bit slow, but the last 2/3 were nonstop action (so much so that the abrupt ending left me with a desperate desire to run to the library for the 3rd book).
