Queen of Hope is the third book of the Empire of Shattered Crowns series.The book is as action packed and fast paced as the previous ones and the FMC Emilia has her hands full.

I loved to read more about Emilia’s backstory,why and how she ended up in a novel and how her childhood was. I think that these gave even more depth to the character. 

Of course the two MMCs are also a big part of the story, Thessian being mostly right beside Emilia and Laurence having his own adventures and problems.

It was also nice to learn more about the supporting characters, some of their backstories, family history etc. Ambrose for example is someone I’ve adored since the beginning. And I loved to see a bit of romance brewing between some of the characters. 

There were some really funny moments in the book (for example Laurence and his adventures) but also some sad moments. The writing was again really good and the story was interesting from beginning to end. I think that the story gets better and better with each book.
