In Cold Blood by Truman Capote

3.0

I recognize that this book was important and groundbreaking for the time, but it could not have been written today. I mean, 90% of it is just….made up? But it touts itself as non-fiction instead of historical fiction. Tons of conversations quoted with absolutely no way for anyone to have known what was said.

All that aside, the book itself just gave so much ridiculous superfluous information. At one point, Capote is describing a dream the lead KBI agent had. I guess it was metaphorical but I could not have cared less.

Anyway this book was way too long and talked about the killers way too much in my opinion. BUT, for what it was…fine. Okay. Sure.
