This was a reread on audio but my first time reviewing the book.
First I want to say I really loved the narration of this book. I felt like the book was even better this time around. The humor was there and done well, and so where the sex scenes. The narrator was easy to understand and made the characters come to life even more.
I picked up this book when all the hype around it happened, which is already quite a bit ago. But nonetheless this book really stuck with me. I absolutely love every aspect of this book, from the kinky and sexy moments to the cozy and romantic parts. All of it works together really well and every reread makes me love this book even more.
Violets innocence is fun to read about, especially alongside her strong drive to do her job at the milking farm well. It was great for her to be an eager student and not someone who cringes away from what they have to do. It also keeps it fresh and interesting that throughout the book that she gets better at her job and adds different things to her routine.
Rourke was an awesome love interest and it was so great to see him treat her so well. He is interesting and has a fun backstory while also being absolutely attractive. Their first interaction was extremely hot and it was soooo fun to see it continue from there. Him taking it slow when they were getting closer also worked really well for the book making sure the characters had a real foundation before they got together.
As a conclusion this book became one of my sexy faves and I hope more people will check it out and enjoy it for the smutty joy that it is.
