DNFing 1/3 of the way in. The main character was despicable, and since he was the main focus of the book it was not pleasant to read. I think the premise of the story was interesting, particularly since it was based off real events; however, for me the appeal in reading a tragic downfall is seeing a character who is like-able become unlike-able. I didn’t like the main character of this book from the beginning, and, therefore, I wasn’t at all invested in his internal struggles.
