I loved this book! The cozy vibes were there, I loved the descriptions of the café, the items on the menu and the townspeople's reactions, but it does get repetitive after a while. I think it would have bothered me more if I read it instead of listening to it. This is an occasion to say that Travis Baldree did amazing at narrating his book, and for a good cause, it’s his job! The romance was a slow burn, which I didn’t mind, but the pace increase was too sudden. I also wish we got to see more of Liv and Tandri as a couple. Except for Liv and Tandri, the characters felt underdeveloped. The found family aspect would have been stronger if that was the case.
